Senior Health Informatics Specialist

1. Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.        
2. Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
3. Develop a comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy medical solutions.
4. Liaise with the IT application development team to suggest a high level functional solution.
5. Develop project estimates & complete IT medical model.
6. Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
7. Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards.
8. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings and courses.
9. Adheres to SFHP-D hospital wide and departmental policies and procedures.

10.  Perform other duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
