Job Description

  • Receive and direct applicants appropriately.
  • Answer, receives and reviews routine recruitment correspondence.
  • Checks the preliminary application requirements and documents for applicant such as qualification and experience certificates (must be certified from Saudi Embassy for non-Saudi), SCFHS Certificates & SCFHS ID and required Life support certificates for medical practitioners, etc.
  • Ensures that positions approved for internal recruitment and external advertisement are advertised on a timely manner.
  • Reviews all applications for prospective candidates and ensures that only the qualified ones are kept in files, after consultation with the Recruitment Section Head.
  • Maintain records and files of new applicants. Numbers and logs them at the time of applying, handles application formats and their attachments and maintains applicant data base. Inputs computerized applicant data information in the CV log to facilitate for retrieval and review.
  • Receives all walk-in applicants in a polite manner and conducts preliminary interview.
  • Checks applicant references to verify past work history and to determine suitability of personal characteristics and job qualifications. Administers English Language ability and typing test to applicants and score tests.
  • Check completeness of documents submitted by the applicants and recruitment agents.
  • Maintains a file of qualified job applicants. Reviews files when vacancies arise, contacts potential applicants and make arrangements for interviews.
  •  Coordinates with recruitment agents to ensure timely and accurate recruitment of international candidates.
  • Prepares internal announcement for positions approved for internal recruitment and circulate them. Prepares external advertisement as necessary.
  • Prepares Visa/Power of Attorney/Job Order needed and to be issued to the recruitment agents and individual candidates.
  • Requests MSD clearance for all applicants requiring MSD approval.
  •  Monitors and updates all positions under his/her area of responsibility and ensures that all the information in the recruitment status report is accurate and updated.
  • Forward CV’s of candidates to the concerned department for assessment & selection, coordinates with Recruitment Section Team and informs the candidates of the interview schedule.
  • Prepares the MSD of candidates against the vacant positions.
  • Prepares Pre-Employment medical examination requests for all international & local hired applicants with MSD clearance
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staff or visitors at risk for injury or other harm.
  • Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards.
  • Prepares employment contracts/employment offers/candidate approvals for all approved candidates in accordance with the policy and procedures and approved salary scales.
  • Arrange travel dates with the authorized travel agents and requests travel order from the Personnel Affairs Section. Ensures the confirmed ticket copy has been imparted to the recruitment agents/or to the international hired candidates.
  • Maintain Teamwork.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Ensures to communicate the flight details (ETA) to all concerned department for the arrangement of housing &/or airport transportation.
  • Create, review and update position job descriptions and ensure all has been up-to-date and posted in the hospital intrane
  • Process new arrivals and enter data of New Employee information in ERP System.

Skills

  • Must speak, read and write English and Arabic fluently.
  • Computer knowledge in all Microsoft applications. Excel is a must.
  • Customer relations skills preferred.
  • Exceptional work ethic, with strong values and principles.
  • Flexible and accommodating and able to go above and beyond the basic expectations when required.
