Job Description

  1. Manages and executes the administrative and financial activities of the Life Saving Support Training Centre activities
  2. Manages and executes the day-to-day activities of the Life Saving Support Training Centre.
  3. Develops and manages budget, controls expenses of the Life Saving Support Training Centre (LSSTC), and prepares monthly reports as requested.
  4. Appraises performance of all departmental staff in accordance with SFHD’s personnel policies.
  5. Handles (LSSTC) compliance, and ensures application of implementation of policies and procedures.
  6. Keeps the instructors updated about all issues related to AHA.
  7. Assists management by planning, organizing, controlling, monitoring (report reviews), and implementing effective and efficient Life Saving Support Training Centre Activites.
  8. Works within teams to create and produce programs that are relevant and satisfy all SFHP-D Staff within the organization, including but not limited to team leaders, managers, and directors.
  9. Monitors the agendas and rosters of the Life Saving Support Training Centre Activites.
  10. Assigns the Course Directors and Lead instructors.organizes regular quality improvement sessions for instructors.
  11. Makes sure the filing process is correct and the written tests are secured.
  12. Orders Life Saving Support Training Centre Activites materials and course completion cards.
  13. Monitors the course evaluation forms to assure quality.
  14. Transfers instructor records to new training center within 30 days of receiving a record transfer request form.
  15. Confirm faculty participation and associated honorarium in writing to assure that program and learning objectives are clearly defined.
  16. Complies with the standards laid down by the approved international accreditation standards and perform the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
  17. Reports any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations which put patients, staff and visitors at risk for injury or other harm.
  18. Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of   his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

Skills

1 - Comprehensive knowledge of the academic and accreditation process, programs, and agencies in the Middle East and Western countries.

2 -   Familiar with the accreditation standards.

3 -   Understanding of the total dimensions of quality improvement as they apply to acute care hospitals.

4 -   Comprehend requirements of overseas educational institutions for admission into undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialized residency and fellowship programs.

 

5 -  Fluent in English and Arabic with understanding of the Saudi Arabian culture, traditions, and values.

 

6 -  Detailed administrative knowledge of the activities of medical library and audiovisual services in a teaching hospital.

 

7 -  Functional understanding of the teaching learning processes and organization of activities with educational intent.
