Job Description
- Responsible for the soiled dental instruments in the rigid container and have it checked by the CSSD technician before it is transported to CSSD Section.
- Prepare dental surgery materials/instruments for all dental procedure.
- Make an 18 film, full -mouth radiographic survey.
- Take occlusal, panoramic and cephalometric radiographs.
- Mixing and preparing all dental materials for all dental procedures.
- Manage medical, radiographic and appointment records.
- Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Protects patients by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
- Comply with the standards laid down by the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards (JCIA), performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
- Perform other applicable tasks assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and ability.
Skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-stress and fast-moving environment.
- Knowledge of dental health education subjects .
- Must be emotionally stable and in good physical health.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint Presentations, Outlook and Word.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to speak clearly in both Arabic and English.
