Database Developer

Job Description

  1. Implementing the data model required by the application.
  2. Creating schema objects and implementing rules for data integrity.
  3. Choosing a programming environment for a new development project.
  4. Writing server-side PL/SQL or subprograms and client-side procedural code that use SQL statements.
  5. Creating the application interface with the chosen development tool.
  6. Establishing a Globalization Support environment for developing globalized applications.
  7. Instantiating applications in different databases for development, testing, education, and deployment in a production environment.
  8. Communicate all pertinent information in a timely manner to the Application Development Manager.
  9. Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards.
  10. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings and courses.
  11. Adheres to SFHP-D hospital wide and departmental policies and procedures.
  12. Perform other duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
