Cyber Security Specialist

Coordinate and implement security measures to protect information and IT resource assets. Identify vulnerabilities and improve SFHP-D IT security capability.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop organizational security strategy plan.
• Define information security policies & procedures, standards & guidelines of SFHP-D.
• Engage with end-users to incorporate security as a part of new initiatives.
• Conduct security audits & track compliance in accordance to security guidelines.
• Provide SFHP-D staff with security awareness & training sessions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the identified security concerns are addressed as rapidly as possible and mitigate any potential threats.
• Communicate all pertinent information in a timely manner to the ITC Director.
• Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards.
• Provide comprehensive performance report on systems status and submit to ITC Director on a timely basis.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings and courses.
• .Adheres to SFHP-D hospital wide and departmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Bachelor degree in any related field e.g. Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology Security.
• Must have at least minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
